Star Group's Financial Accountant, Toni Dunn, and team, Chris Martonhelyi, Glenn Davis, and Carissa McMahon, recently participated in the Picton Golf Charity Day for Blue Wren House. Blue Wren House is a part of the Women's Community Shelters of Sydney and plays a crucial role in providing safe and secure accommodation to women and children fleeing domestic violence. Blue Wrem House offers assistance with rental bonds and pay a few weeks' rent to help them get back on their feet and support them on their journey of healing, empowerment, and independence.
The event was a great success and raised $12,000 for Blue Wren Women's Shelter. Star Group's team secured 2nd place with 53.75 points, just losing out to the winners by a small margin of 53.15 points. Glenn Davis took out closest to the pin, while Chris's excellent driving skills helped the team score a few birdies. Carissa's pitching and Toni's putting also contributed to the team's impressive score, and everyone enjoyed the day.
